昆明市东川红土地景区位于昆明市东川区新田乡花石头村，地处乌蒙山区，属高原山区地貌，海拔1800-2600米。因土壤富含铁、铝成分，经氧化后呈现炫目的赤红色，是著名的摄影爱好者喜爱的景区，被誉为"上帝打翻的调色盘"。
核心景观资源有落霞沟、乐谱凹、锦绣园/七彩坡、打马坎、千年龙树等。

宛若丹青，
绘自玄冥。
One slope in crimson and purple glow,one ridge in misty azure flow.Like a painting in ink and dye,drawn by the hand of sky on high.

其赤如炽，
其淡如岚，
高远者天，
深厚者壤。
我飞其上，
风来泱泱，
尘襟尽涤，

Its red burns bright like flame,Its pale haze glides like mist.Lofty is the sky;Profound is the earth.I fly above the land,The wind comes strong and grand.My dusty heart is cleansed,My soul soars high, unconfined.
